Today, I speak at a memorial. Tomorrow, I testify in court.

I do both of these things because I understand the value of family, both biological and adopted. True love runs deeper than blood.

As I tweeted: Sometimes, when you’re scared enough, all you can do is smile and be cheerful and hope that the relief will follow.

As long as I’m breathing good, clean oxygen from this planet, I may as well trust that people come and go when they are supposed to.

And the wishes that I make on every dandelion ghost will be granted, as long as the wish comes from my heart of hearts.
