August Break photo challenge, day 9: a picture of a picture of our Siberian Husky, Nikki, as a puppy.
Nikki passed away at home on Saturday, August 11th, 2012 as she slept beneath the shade of her favorite tree. It’s strange to wake up one morning with a dog, and go to sleep without one. Her food and water bowls are still sitting on the back porch, full and stagnant. Change happens so fast.
She was a sweet dog. Kind to the children. Eager to play. Protective and loyal as only a good dog can be. She is already missed.
May she rest in peace.
